| Our number one priority in being parents, is simply being present. Robin has been a stay at home Mom since the day Cecilia was born, and Nico has a flexible work from home career. We are blessed to spend every day with our girls, watching them grow, and experience the world. We approach parenting as a team, often seeking advice from each other when dealing with new situations. We strive to really listen to our girls, meet their needs, address their wants, and remedy their troubles. It is our belief that we are the first (and most important) teachers of our children, and we take that role seriously. But we know that teaching and learning can happen anywhere and everywhere. Learning can come from digging in the dirt, watching the clouds roll by, seeing classic works of art, hearing and making beautiful music. We also realize that we are not enough. We have surrounded ourselves with three sets of grand- parents, and a close network of friends who all have children as well. We pray that we can inspire our children every day, and that we bring them peace and happiness. |
